With his 40 years of courtroom experience, Mike Hayes is one of the seasoned veterans of New York law. He followed tradition by entering the same area of practice as his father who was one of the great New York City trial lawyers of the nineteen-fifties and -sixties.
Mike has spent his career in actual trial work throughout New York State representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He predominantly does defense work. After being a partner at Wilson & Bave in Westchester, he started as a partner at McCabe & Mack LLP in 1981 and became Of Counsel in January 2005. Mike has participated in multiple CLE programs including several Masters in Trial programs sponsored by the American Board of Trial Advocates jointly with the New York County Lawyers Association.
Among his personal interests are photography and golf. Mike and his wife, Sheila, a published writer of children's books, make their home in Danbury, Connecticut. They have three daughters, Laura, Allison and Susannah, and six grandchildren.
