Litigation/Insurance Defense: Ian represents individuals, businesses and governmental bodies regarding property damage claims, motor vehicle, premises and workplace accidents. Conducting all phases of defense including trial.
Subrogation: Prosecutes and defends subrogation lawsuits commenced by insurance companies to recover property damage payments resulting from fire, floods and other accidents. Conducting all phases of the case including trial.
Personal Injury Plaintiff: Represents clients who have sustained serious injury resulting from premises liability, automobile or other types of accidents. Conducting all phases of the case including trial.
Commercial Litigation: Represents clients in commercial and residential construction cases as well as banks, corporations and local businesses in a variety of legal matters. Conducting all phases of the case including trial.
Appellate Practice: Representing clients through the civil appeals process, including preparing briefs and arguing before the Appellate Divisions throughout New York.
Landlord/Tenant Law: Represents clients in both residential and commercial landlord/tenant disputes.
Criminal Defense: Represents clients in all local courts defending traffic infractions, misdemeanors and felonies.
Ian, a native of Dutchess County, joined McCabe & Mack LLP in 2005 as a litigation associate. He is an original and current Advisory Council Member for the Young Professionals Group of the Hudson Valley, known as The HUB. This organization's goals and objectives are to make the Hudson Valley a better place to live, work, play and stay for young professionals.
Ian lives in Fishkill where he enjoys participating in a variety of outdoor sports including snowboarding, kayaking, hiking, camping and fishing. Ian also volunteers as a coach for a number of local wrestling programs in the Hudson Valley.
