Past Shaker Award recipients Michelle Almeida, Ian Lindars and Kimberly Hunt Lee celebrate at the 2010 Shaker Awards Ceremony with Rebecca Blahut.

The Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce recognized forty individuals at their 5th Annual Forty Under 40 "Shaker Awards" on March 8th.  This event recognized forty people under the age of 40 who have made remarkable strides in the community, have a vision for the region's business future, are business savvy beyond their years and have the passion to take the risks to make their dreams happen.

Rebecca Blahut is a 2010 Shaker Award recipient.  She joined McCabe & Mack in 2003 as an associate attorney and works in the Firm's Estate Group and Zoning Group.  Her specific practice areas include estate planning; guardianships; trust and estate administration; elder law; and condominium formation and conversion.

Rebecca is a Member of the Board of Directors of Dutchess County Arts Council and currently serves as the organization's corporate secretary.  She also serves as the treasurer of the Dutchess County Bar Association.

Rebecca previously served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Quitman Resource Center for Preservation and the Board of Directors of Grace Smith House.
