COMMERCIAL LITIGATION / COMMERCIAL COLLECTIONS

Tom represents businesses and individuals in litigation pertaining to a wide range of contract disputes and commercial collection matters, including in disputes involving employment agreements, professional services agreements, shareholder agreements, commercial lending, real estate agreements, secured transactions, promissory notes, and personal guarantees.

COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION / LANDLORD-TENANT DISPUTES / LIEN FORECLOSURE

Tom represents contractors, subcontractors, materialmen, homeowners, and landowners in litigation involving commercial and residential construction and renovation projects. He also litigates disputes between landlords and tenants and represents clients in lien foreclosure actions.

APPELLATE PRACTICE

Representing clients through the civil appeals process, including the preparation of briefs and conducting oral arguments before the Appellate Divisions throughout New York.

A Fishkill native and John Jay alumnus, Tom joined the firm in 2020. While in law school at St. John's University, he completed an externship with the Hon. Laura Taylor Swain of the Southern District of New York. Following graduation, Tom was hired by a boutique firm in New York City, where he worked on a variety of commercial litigation and personal injury cases.

Happy to be back home in the Hudson Valley, he resides in vibrant downtown Poughkeepsie and enjoys playing golf in his free time.
